Specification, Chemical & Mechanical Performance
K93600 is an alloy of nickel (36%) and iron, engineered for superior durability and strength in low-temperature applications. Its coefficient of thermal expansion is 1/10 that of 18-8 stainless steel, eliminating thermal stress caused by temperature changes. It also offers high toughness and excellent weldability with sheet and strip forms.
Weldability
This product boasts excellent weldability, allowing for joints of thin sheet materials to be joined without a filler, even in seam welding. This great capability ensures a strong and high-quality weld every time.
Applications
Ideal for use in areas requiring a low coefficient of thermal expansion, such as LNG tankers and molds. With a proven track record of performance, our bimetal is a reliable solution for all your parts needs.
