Brief description
Ideal for heavy load applications, this high-manganese austenitic stainless steel provides up to 25% higher strength than conventional non-magnetic stainless steels. It offers superior corrosion resistance and can be cold worked without causing magnetization. A 17Cr-15Mn-4Ni composition ensures excellent performance in plate, sheet, and strip forms.
Workability
This non-magnetic alloy offers the same hot and cold workability as standard austenitic stainless steels like Type 304 or Type 316, but its increased strength must be taken into account during processing. Keep your project durable and reliable with this high strength material.
Our heat-treated stainless steel offers superior corrosion and wear resistance due to its unique treatment process. It is solution heat-treated at 1050-1150°C and rapidly cooled to create a hardening effect, similar to austenitic stainless steels.
Application
